Guest Kent Scrivener Posted March 14, 2000 Posted March 14, 2000 Where can I go (internet, trade journal, etc.) to obtain comprehensive info re the advantages/disadvantges of self-tusteeship vs. corporate trusteeship (such as trusteeship provided by a bank trust department)? Fiduciary liability and legal ramifications for the plan sponsor as result of self-trusteeship? ------------------
Guest RS Vatalaro Posted March 14, 2000 Posted March 14, 2000 I recently posed this same question and was directed to an article (don't remember the website). I'll fax the article to you if you email me your fax number. rvatalaro@earthlink.net
Guest SSCARO Posted March 18, 2000 Posted March 18, 2000 Bryan, Pendleton, Swats & Mcallister, LLC published an article in a 1996 Developments newsletter called "Requirements of a Qualified Plan Trustee." At one time there were reprints available. Their address is One Burton Hills Blvd, Suite 275, Nashville, TN 37215. Hope this helps.
Jon Chambers Posted March 21, 2000 Posted March 21, 2000 Think the article referenced was on our website, www.schultzcollins.com, follow the "corporate retirement plans"/"articles" link on the NAV bar and you should find it. It's in PDF format. ------------------ Jon C. Chambers Principal Schultz Collins Lawson Chambers, Inc. (415) 291-3004 Jon C. Chambers Schultz Collins Lawson Chambers, Inc. Investment Consultants
