Stevo-PDX Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 We are currently using Relius PPD VS 401k/PS Plan Document, but are considering moving to ASC, FTWilliam or McKay Hockman. I'm looking for comments related to issues with these providers, such as unexpected limitations in plan designs, inefficient amendment process, problems with batch processing to generate the required various notices. Any feed back is appreciated. Thanks,
ETA Consulting LLC Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 I have used all three, but have used ASCi (DGEM) for years. In my opinion, it is the best system I've seen yet. The attorneys that wrote the document are old PPD guys that used to work for Corbel. When they moved to create ASCi, they resolved all the weaknesses from the old "Autodoc" system that Corbel used. It drastically reduces the time needed to create a new document (or amend and plan) for a client. Just my thoughts. Good Luck! CPC, QPA, QKA, TGPC, ERPA
Bird Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Ft. William has excellent documents/systems/service. I seriously can't think of anything bad to say about them. I don't know about the others. Ed Snyder
SheilaD Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Ft. William has excellent documents/systems/service. I seriously can't think of anything bad to say about them. I don't know about the others. We have been quite pleased with Ft. William - especially their support services. They have been particularly helpful with IRS questions on cash balance submissions.
