gregburst Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I've heard that if a new plan grandfathers all employees hired as of the effective date, then the normal coverage testing - that sometimes causes problems when grandfathering is used - is not required. In other words, a plan can grandfather everyone employed on the effective date without worrying about coverage. Can anyone confirm this (or shoot it down)?
