Guest JanB Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Company A, owned by 3 people, 33% each. Company B owned 100% by Company A I'm thinking Company A and Company B are a controlled group. I have someone telling me it is not a controlled group. Am I totally wrong?
ETA Consulting LLC Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 How can they not be a controlled group? You are correct! Good Luck! Bill Presson 1 CPC, QPA, QKA, TGPC, ERPA
MoJo Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Uh, Company A owns more than 80% of Company B. 'nuff said. It's a classic "Parent-Subsidiary" controlled group. Someone is trying to apply "Brother-Sister" controlled group logic - by looking at the owners of Company A. Don't need to. ETA Consulting LLC and Bill Presson 2
