Guest Jay345 Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Hello all, I've run into my first 401(k) plan sponsored by a non profit entity. I know that all of my compliance testing should be done as normal, but my question is...who are the owners? Would there just not be any owners to consider for things like HCE and Key Employee determinations? Same with officers. In most cases, the officers on non profits are from outside the orginzation. So...no officers? This is the logical conclusion for me, but that seems to easy to be true. Is it? Thanks!
ETA Consulting LLC Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 There aren't any owners. So, the HCE analysis is done on Compensation alone. Good Luck! CPC, QPA, QKA, TGPC, ERPA
Guest Jay345 Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Thanks for the confirmation! Simple enough.
