Below Ground Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 If a Plan allows a person to defer immediately upon date of hire, can that Plan apply an age 21 and 1 Year of Service on the Safe Harbor Matching. Basically, do deferrals and the Safe Harbor Match need to use the same standard for Plan entry? Having braved the blizzard, I take a moment to contemplate the meaning of life. Should I really be riding in such cold? Why are my goggles covered with a thin layer of ice? Will this effect coverage testing? QPA, QKA
Lou S. Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 You can have split eligibility. If the Plan is TH though you don't get the free TH pass so sometimes split eligibility isn't the best idea.
Below Ground Posted October 8, 2014 Author Posted October 8, 2014 Thanks Lou. For some reason this issue always slip my mind. I can never seem to find anything on this topic. Can you say where this is stated? Having braved the blizzard, I take a moment to contemplate the meaning of life. Should I really be riding in such cold?
