MGOAdmin Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Say you have a safe harbor match plan and you no longer wish to be safe harbor. When is the ealriest you can amend to not be safe harbor? Do you have to give the employees a certain amount of days notice? In this case, the client wishes to implement a regular match as soon as possible. thanks
Belgarath Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Minimum 30 days. But remember, it is now 2015, so the elimination of the SH match requires the "economic loss" parameters, or that the "maybe not" language was in your 2015 Safe Harbor Notice.
