Guest Nancy Hovanes Posted November 19, 1999 Posted November 19, 1999 I have a client who sponsors a SEP and now wants to add a new 10% Money Purchase Plan. The SEP came first, the company uses a 5305-SEP, which cannot be used once the MPPPlan goes in. I cannot locate a prototype SEP from any vendors or other providers. Can anyone help me find a non-model SEP document?
Lynn Campbell Posted November 20, 1999 Posted November 20, 1999 Dean Witter had such a non Model SEP a few years ago. They may be able to help you. Now they are Morgan Stanley...
Guest jppcpa Posted December 4, 1999 Posted December 4, 1999 Kemper also has prototyp SEP that allows a second qualified plan
Guest Nancy Hovanes Posted December 10, 1999 Posted December 10, 1999 Thanks for the input. It is helpful.
Guest Ramadoss Posted December 22, 1999 Posted December 22, 1999 AG Edwards also seems to have one. Here is another twist I ran into. The employer who is selfemployed has already adopted a model SEP and made some contri- bution for 1999. can a new prototype SEP be adopted and what is the best logistics in moving the funds from model SEP to Prototype SEP. ------------------ M K Ramadoss
