SoCalActuary Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 An IRS agent wants an EZ filer to change to full 5500 filing with schedules, because sole participant takes RMD and has non-standard asset (private loan). I don't see that in the instructions for 5500EZ. Any authority for this request?
ETA Consulting LLC Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Like you, I think this request is against everything I understand about the EZ and the requirements to file another form. Good Luck! CPC, QPA, QKA, TGPC, ERPA

He won't be able to and it will go away. Lawrence C. Mike Preston Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Respectfully? I think auditor is confusing 5500SF restrictions and requirements with those for the EZ.
