DFVCP Filing Fees

Does anyone know if DFVCP filling fees can be paid to the DOL from plan assets (ideally, forfeitures), or do they have to be paid directly by the plan sponsor?

No. DFVC filing fees are settlor expenses. They must be paid by the plan sponsor.

You can never make the participants pay for the Plan Sponsor's/Administrator's mistake and not filing on time is their mistake.
