alexsalkever Posted May 21, 2021 Posted May 21, 2021 Hi, everyone! I am not in the business but am a solo practitioner looking to set up a DB + 401k paired plan. The annual fees can erode the returns quite a bit. I was wondering if anyone can recommend lower cost offerings? Idealluy, below $2k annually. Thanks for any recommendations!
Effen Posted May 21, 2021 Posted May 21, 2021 Best place to start is to ask your accountant and/or attorney for recommendations. Like most things in life, you get what you pay for. It might be help to scan some of the other threads on this board to gain an understanding of the potential issues. You should be able to find someone willing to do the work for < 2K for a solo db. Location doesn't really matter, but if you tell us what city you are near, someone will likely PM you. Bob the Swimmer Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 Our actuary is a real good one- I’ve known him for over 40 years- and his fees are roughly at that cutoff for first year and then below that for after. If you want to respond to this post I’ll provide his information.
