Guest pthomann Posted October 11, 2000 Posted October 11, 2000 I am trying to locate any and all information on the New York City Police Pension Fund. I have searched the web for weeks with not much luck. I have even contacted the NYC Pension Section with no luck. I am also trying to locate IRC sec. 414h; all the search engines state it does not exist. I am most interested in tax issues, pension options, line of duty injuries, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you.
Carol V. Calhoun Posted October 12, 2000 Posted October 12, 2000 The New York City Police Pension Fund is part of the New York City Employees' Retirement System. (Just click on the link to go to its Web site.) The statutory section you want is Internal Revenue Code section 414(h), also found at 26 U.S.C. § 414(h). Just click on the button below to go to a page which will have a link to 26 U.S.C. § 414(h). Click on that link, and then scroll down to subsection (h).
