Guest sheadan Posted November 17, 2000 Posted November 17, 2000 Have a participant with a spouse in jail wants hardship distribution! Divorce is not on the horizon any suggestions on how to handle spousal consent? notary in jail?
Jon Chambers Posted November 17, 2000 Posted November 17, 2000 Yes, I think you need to either have a notary at the jail, or alternately, a plan representative at the jail, unless parole or time off permits the spouse to execute the form outside of jail.
