Jakyasar Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago The 5500 was prepared with all capital letters. 5558 was prepared with both upper and lower case letter. Vendor check generated an error stating the 2 forms do not match which was not error before. Vendor said it is probably because of the above. This is something new? Why should it be an error? Checked both forms for other mismatched information but there was none. Anyone encountered anything like this? QKA, QKC, QPA, CBS - I used to be indecisive about pensions but now I am not so sure
RatherBeGolfing Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago This is likely a vendor QC, not EFAST. Is it FTW? I have gotten similar errors and had to mess with punctuation, like one missing period
Jakyasar Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago Yes it is. There was nothing missing. This is new as all year nothing happened and suddenly now an issue. QKA, QKC, QPA, CBS - I used to be indecisive about pensions but now I am not so sure

Ive seen it in past years, but we had a very large sample size. Did it specify name mismatch? Other common mismatches are plan year for short years, and EIN in the year of a change.
