Guest NPaleveda Posted April 7, 2001 Posted April 7, 2001 Can a 412i plan intergrate social security-and how do you do the caculations? I there a program that one can purchase that will do the pro-formas?
Lorraine Dorsa Posted April 9, 2001 Posted April 9, 2001 A 412(i) plan is simply a defined benefit plan fully funded with insurance contracts. You can certainly calculate the benefit using an integrated formula. Once the monthly benefit is computed, the funding (purchasing of contracts) is the same as any other 412(i) plan.
