Incorrect timing of forfeitures.

Forfeitures were used to reduce employer match in the same year rather than the following year as per the document. Is that a problem? If so how do we correct the problem?

It is a problem because it violates the plan document; however, it is not unsolvable. It should be corrected by the employer making a contribution in an amount equal to the forfeitures.
