The End of the COVID-19 Emergencies: Health Plan Considerations

Thompson Hine LLP

Mar. 15, 2023
On-Demand
Webinar

As the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency and National Emergency come to an end, so too will some health plan coverage requirements, certain relief for health plans and Outbreak Period deadline extensions.

Please join Kim Wilcoxon and Mark Kroboth, members of Thompson Hine’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation group, as they walk through several issues employers should consider when addressing the end of the emergencies, including:

  • Identifying plan changes made during the emergencies and determining whether they can and should be continued
  • Updating the plan’s administration and documentation to reflect any changes driven by the end of the emergencies
  • Coordinating with vendors
  • Communicating to employees
