Webinar

When Roe v. Wade was overturned as a result of the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, state law restrictions on abortions came back into play. Health plans were left scrambling to determine whether or not to cover abortion-related medical services, including reimbursement of travel expenses incurred in order to obtain any medical services. Some plan sponsors made changes, while others adopted a “wait and see” approach. Regardless of whether changes were made, employers and plan sponsors are watching to see what others are doing, what new issues have arisen, and how best to design and implement any new benefits going forward. This webcast provides a high-level overview and gets you up to date on where we’re at post-Dobbs, including what we know now, what plan design ideas work (or don’t), and what we’re watching heading into 2023.
