Tracking Mental Health Parity Developments: New Proposed MHPAEA Regulations and Enforcement Update

As eagerly anticipated new guidance was recently issued by the Departments of Health and Human Services, Labor and Treasury under the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA), this program will review and discuss the proposed regulations as well as the updated MHPAEA Report to Congress that was included as part of the guidance package. The panelists will analyze key compliance and planning points, as well as identify issues and any outstanding questions for group health plan stakeholders as they work to evaluate and implement responsive strategies.
