Keeping Up with SECURE 2.0: Guidance on New Requirements and Choices

Worldwide Employee Benefits Network [WEB]

May 23, 2024
On-Demand
Webinar

SECURE 2.0 implemented the most comprehensive changes to employee benefits law since the Pension Protection Act of 2006. The IRS has given plan sponsors an additional year to adopt conforming plan amendments, but operational compliance is already required for some of the new provisions. In this program, a panel from Buck will discuss guidance that has been provided on SECURE 2.0 and provisions that are already in effect or will be effective in 2025. These include requirements to cover long-term part-time employees and mandatory auto-enrollment and auto-escalation for new plans and options to provide emergency savings accounts.
