What the New HIPAA Privacy Rules on Reproductive Health Care Mean for Employers

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recently issued final rules designed to provide better protection for information about abortion and other reproductive health care. This webinar will focus on how the new rules, generally effective December 23, 2024, will affect employers’ health benefit plans and their business associates. The speakers also will provide tips to help employers prepare for changes to their Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) privacy policies and procedures and notices of privacy practices.
