Mandatory Automatic Enrollment After the Proposed Regulations

Nova 401(k) Associates

Apr. 2, 2025
On-Demand
Webinar

Nova 401(k) is pleased to offer a FREE 60 minute webinar for Mandatory Automatic Enrollment After the Proposed Regulations. Among the most significant changes made by SECURE 2.0 was the requirement that new 401(k) and 403(b) plans include automatic enrollment as part of the plan’s design. The new law became effective in 2025, and proposed regulations were released in January. This webcast will cover what is required under the new law and the guidance provided by the proposed regulations.

Attendees will:

  • Analyze the requirements of SECURE 2.0 and the guidance provided by the proposed regulations;
  • Understand the grandfathering rules for pre-enactment plans and other exemptions;
  • Be able to describe the minimum default contribution rates and how auto escalation is applied; and
  • Learn how to correct automatic enrollment implementation errors.
