2025 ERISA Litigation Update

During this panel, a plaintiff-side litigator, a defense-side litigator and an in-house financial institution attorney will discuss procedural and substantive trends and developments in ERISA litigation. After attending this session, participants will be able to:

• Assess the economic environment, strategic considerations, pleading standards and other factors that drive ERISA litigation
• Review of status of ESG investing litigation
• Review the current status of litigation regarding DOL guidance
• Summarize litigation developments in the defined contribution plan litigation
• Evaluate how defined benefit litigation developments, including pension actuarial assumption litigation and annuity purchase litigation, will affect the plans they represent.
