The Year-End Paid Sick Leave Playbook: Compliance Challenges Heading Into 2026Seyfarth Shaw LLP |
Dec. 18, 2025 On-Demand Webinar |
We're going to start with a brief national overview of paid sick leave and paid time off laws. We'll then jump into Nebraska's paid sick time law, a look back on the newest law to go into effect in this space. We'll then turn to Alaska's paid sick leave law, which is less than 6 months old as well and has some recent activity in terms of administrative materials there. We'll then talk about California, New York State and New York City activity, big Pittsburgh amendments that start in just a few weeks, Minnesota and Minneapolis updates. We'll then remind folks about Missouri's paid sick leave law or lack thereof, Maine paid time off law amendments, and then we'll wrap up with a couple of updates that are dropping at the beginning of next year in Oregon and Washington. And finally, a outlook for 2026. |
