Excerpt: The Supreme Court on Monday declined to review and thus let stand a federal appeals court decision that the estate of a deceased man whose former employer improperly denied his COBRA coverage while he was alive isn't entitled to recover from the employer medical expenses that were paid by his wife's group health plan.
