Retiree Reflections: Lessons Learned For The Next Generation

EBRI [Employee Benefit Research Institute]

June 22, 2022
On-Demand
Webinar

Join us for a discussion about “Retiree Reflections” and past financial behavior.  Webinar panelists will explore how retirees' career financial decisions have impacted their current retirement situation and what employers can do about it.

This complimentary webinar will begin by presenting new survey research, conducted in collaboration with Edelman Financial Engines, about 55 to 80-year old retirees with $50,000 – $5,000,000 in financial assets. The survey examines past financial decisions and what advice retirees would give to a younger version of themselves, finding that many retirees would have changed savings and spending behaviors during their working years to help improve their current financial situation. The panel will then discuss how employers can help improve financial decision making and its impact on retirement by partnering with trusted service providers.

The webinar will reveal retiree reflections about:

  • What went well?
  • What do they wish was done differently?
  • What types of support were most helpful along the way?
