Group Health Plans Facing New Machine-Readable File RequirementsMiller Johnson |

June 16, 2022 On-Demand Webinar |
|
In 2020, the Departments of Health and Human Services, Labor and Treasury issued the final “Transparency in Coverage” regulations. Part of these regulations require group health plans to post on a public website certain information about the plan’s coverage of both in-network items and services, and out-of-network allowed amounts in so called “machine-readable files.” The requirement to post these machine readable files was scheduled to take effect for plan years beginning on or after January 1, 2022. However, the Departments delayed the effective date until July 1, 2022. Join Tripp VanderWal for this webinar which will explore a plan’s and plan’s sponsor’s obligations with respect to this machine-readable file requirement. |
