WIPN to Celebrate 15th Anniversary at NASDAQ Closing Bell Ceremony

New York, NY — We Inspire. Promote. Network. (WIPN), the leading nonprofit organization supporting the professional development and growth of women in the retirement plan industry, will mark its 15th anniversary with a special Closing Bell ceremony at NASDAQ in New York on October 15, 2024.

Founded in 2008 by a group of senior-level women in the retirement industry, WIPN has grown from an informal network into an established 501(c)(6) nonprofit with over 1,500 members and 5,500 subscribers across the United States, including a national virtual chapter. Over the past 15 years, WIPN has been a driving force in advancing the careers of women in the retirement plan industry, providing networking, mentorship, professional development, and advocating for gender equity across all career levels.

WIPN’s 15th-anniversary celebration will begin with the ringing of the NASDAQ Closing Bell on October 15. Following this, crystal anniversary events will take place on October 17 in major cities, including Boston, Chicago, Denver, New York, and Washington, D.C., along with simultaneous “watch parties” hosted by its regional chapters nationwide. This anniversary underscores WIPN’s mission to elevate and support women in a traditionally male-dominated field.
