Guidance on Paid Family Leave Laws, Part X: Spotlighting Delaware, Maine, Maryland, and Minnesota

Seyfarth Shaw LLP

Dec. 17, 2024
On-Demand
Webinar

As 2025 approaches, several state paid family medical leave programs – Delaware, Maine, Maryland, and Minnesota – are continuing to ramp up their compliance requirements and prepare for their respective “go live” dates in 2026. Each program has experienced changes through rulemaking and administrative guidance in recent months. And several of the programs have already seen their first compliance deadlines come and go in the waning weeks of 2024. Further developments are expected in 2025. All of this activity is building up to 2026 when all four programs will begin providing benefits to eligible employees between January 1 and July 1, 2026.

Join us for a live webinar where our team of employment law professionals will break down the latest updates in these four forthcoming paid family medical leave jurisdictions and discuss what these changes mean for your organization.

Topics Include:

  • Overview of the paid family medical leave programs in Delaware, Maine, Maryland, and Minnesota
  • Employer obligations, including compliance timelines and reporting requirements
  • Best practices for updating policies and procedures
  • 2025 paid family medical leave outlook beyond Delaware, Maine, Maryland, and Minnesota
