We are pleased to welcome Allison Martinez as the newest attorney to join Boutwell Fay LLP!

Allison brings more than a decade of experience in employee benefits and tax law and will be a valuable addition to our team. She advises on a wide range of issues, including tax-qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, ERISA (Employee Retirement Income Security Act) fiduciary matters, ACA (Affordable Care Act), HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), COBRA (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act) compliance, and more.

She has advised private employers, public entities, nonprofit organizations, and religious organizations on complex benefits issues. Her expertise also includes regulatory compliance. Earlier in her career, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Harry Haines and the Honorable Joel Gerber of the U.S. Tax Court, further strengthening her background in the tax aspects of employee benefits.

Allison also brings a strong commitment to pro bono service and community engagement. Her work with legal aid organizations and volunteer contributions have earned her multiple accolades, including recognition on the Capitol Pro Bono Honor Roll and as the Pro Bono Attorney of the Year by the Inland Empire Latino Lawyers Association.
