msmith Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 I would be curious to know if anyone has receiving notification from their Document Provider, as to when the software will be available, to restate DB and CB Plans. Specifically, VS or Prototype.
A Shot in the Dark Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Our office uses FT William for our plan document software. FT William sent an e-mail to our office yesterday stating IRS Approval PPA letters were issued with a March 30, 2018 date. The e-mail also indicated that it would take time to get the software updated and they will be sending out a time table for completion in the near future.
CuseFan Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 My FTW contact said they would update their AA format VSP first then their IDP format, with a 3Q release. Kenneth M. Prell, CEBS, ERPA Vice President, BPAS Actuarial & Pension Services kprell@bpas.com
Bill Presson Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Because of multiple acquisitions over the past few years, we seem to be paying almost every document provider out there. We're working to reduce that. Anyway, we heard the same on the FTW document. Just got an email from Accudraft that they got their approval letters and expect the updated documents to be available June 1. William C. Presson, ERPA, QPA, QKA bill.presson@gmail.com C 205.994.4070
Lou S. Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Corbel, Relius or FIS or whatever they are called these days sent an e-mail saying they are reviewing IRS letters for accuracy and will send shortly and that document update is scheduled "summer" release.
