Dennis G. Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 Hi, Can anyone tell me if the increased loan limits under the CARES Act has been extended past September 27? 2020? Thanks.
Lou S. Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 Not that I've seen. And I think the date was September 23 not 27.
Luke Bailey Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 There's no extension. Nancy and Mitch would have to come to agreement on that. I'm not even sure it is in any of the proposed bills. Maybe someone who knows will chime in. Luke Bailey Senior Counsel Clark Hill PLC 214-651-4572 (O) | LBailey@clarkhill.com 2600 Dallas Parkway Suite 600 Frisco, TX 75034

Peter Gulia Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 Following Congress's continuing resolution near September's end, the next showdown-or-shutdown date is December 11. Depending on what then is known or anticipated about results from November's elections, there might then be a tight window of opportunity for legislation. Or, depending on political consequences, some might prefer to wait for the 117th Congress.
