United Airlines' Pension Woes: Sign of Bigger Issue -- Retirement Just Isn't What It Used to Be
The Christian Science MonitorLink to more items from this source
Oct. 4, 2004
Excerpt: Despite ongoing negotiations with its unions, United Airlines has told the bankruptcy court that the 'likely result' will be a decision to terminate all of its pension plans.
