"More than 85% of publicly traded companies require executives to hold a certain amount of company stock, thereby encouraging an alignment of their interests with those of the company's shareholders.... [A recent] survey on ownership guidelines for company stock at 440 publicly traded corporations in the United States. Some interesting trends emerged, some showing shifts away from past approaches to stock ownership.
