Deal Enables Members of Congress and Staff to Continue to Get Federal Government Payment for their Healthcare Coverage through Exchanges

"[L]awmakers and many of their aides will have to get coverage through new health insurance marketplaces, or exchanges, being set up in every state.... Drew Hammill, a spokesman for Ms. Pelosi, confirmed that the government contributions would continue. Those contributions provide $5,000 a year for individual coverage and $11,000 for families under some of the most popular health plans."
