Corporate Pension Funded Status Declines by $28 Billion in September (PDF)

Oct. 9, 2015 "Milliman 100 Pension Funding Index The funded status of the 100 largest corporate defined benefit pension plans worsened by $28 billion during September as measured by the Milliman 100 Pension Funding Index (PFI). The deficit rose to $312 billion due to both investment losses and interest rate decreases during September. As of September 30, the funded ratio dropped to 81.7%, down from 83.3% at the end of August." MORE >> |
