House Legislation Would Protect Federal Employee Unused Leave During Coronavirus Pandemic
Government Executive May 8, 2020 "A new bill in the House would ensure that federal workers who cannot take vacation this year due to the coronavirus pandemic ... would not lose their paid leave.... The bill would allow federal employees whose work is part of the COVID-19 response effort to roll over all of their unused leave to 2021. Currently, most federal workers are only allowed to roll over 240 hours, or 30 days, of paid annual leave per year." |
