[Guidance Overview] Dec. 7, 2020 "[E]mployers must be prepared to implement the new Maine Earned Paid Leave Law (EPL), effective January 1, 2021. The EPL law requires employers with more than 10 employees in Maine, for more than 120 days in any calendar year, to permit eligible employees to earn one [1] hour of earned time for every 40 hours worked, up to a maximum of 40 hours per year." |
