Fourth Circuit Confirms Discretion in QDRO Cost Allocation and Declines ERISA Penalties

Dec. 9, 2025 "[T]he Fourth Circuit affirmed the district court's judgment finding that the ERISA plan administrator properly interpreted a qualified domestic relations order (QDRO) and correctly calculated the participant's monthly annuity.
