Latest IRS Listing of Required Modifications (LRM) Language is Now Available.

Courtesy of McKay Hochman Co., Inc., which obtained these from the IRS National Office yesterday, BenefitsLink is pleased to make available for downloading the following documents, which are in zipped Microsoft Word (Windows) format. These documents reflect the provisions of the Internal Revenue Code as amended through the Internal Revenue Service Restructuring and Reform Act of 1998 (P.L. 105-206). (Advanced users might wish to use the FTP links; the HTTP links are easier to use but might be slightly less reliable.)

Defined Contribution LRM (dclrm.zip, 122 KB)HTTPFTP
Defined Benefit LRM (dblrm.zip, 163 KB)HTTPFTP
CODA LRM (codalrm.zip, 33 KB)HTTPFTP

If you don't know what a ZIP file is, but you're using Windows, then you probably want to download a "self-extracting" version of the files, then double-click on them once they've been downloaded to your computer. Here are the self-extracting (for Windows users) versions:

Defined Contribution LRM (dclrm.exe, 141 KB)HTTPFTP
Defined Benefit LRM (dblrm.exe, 182 KB)HTTPFTP
CODA LRM (codalrm.exe, 52.2 KB)HTTPFTP
