The BenefitsLink Newsletter - Special Announcement May 11, 2000 Many of our readers have expressed a wish to receive only retirement plan-related information from BenefitsLink, or to receive only health and other welfare plan-related information. Now we can meet that need! Starting tomorrow (no issue today), the BenefitsLink Newsletter will be published in two editions: a Retirement Plans Edition and a Welfare Plans Edition. As before, there is no charge. The Retirement Plans Edition is for people interested in pension, The Welfare Plans Edition is for people interested in group health plans, cafeteria (section 125 or flex) plans, long-term disability plans, group life insurance plans, and other types of employer-sponsored fringe benefit programs (also called "welfare" plans under ERISA). The newsletter to which you currently subscribe is changing into the new Retirement Plans Edition. To get the Retirement Plans Edition only, you don't need to do a thing. You can delete this message. To get both editions use the following form: To get the Welfare Plans Edition only, you'll want to use both of the following 2 forms: We confess that another reason we're splitting the newsletter into two editions is to help us sell the banner and text ads that appear at the top of each issue. These ads enable us to publish the newsletters without charge to you. As before, neither your email address nor any other personal information of yours will be shared with advertisers, but we hope the focus provided by each of the lists will be more appealing to advertisers whose products or services interest only retirement plan edition subscribers or only welfare plan edition subscribers. An advertiser can purchase an ad in either edition, and the charge would be based only on the number of people who receive that edition. Or an ad can be purchased in both editions. More information is here (click). It is a pleasure to provide these newsletters for you! Thanks for your support. -- Dave Baker, Publisher |
