Scott Wagner Named to Southeast Benefits Education Network Board

Atlanta (February 2020) – Scott Wagner, a partner at Morris, Manning & Martin, has been named to the board of directors of the Southeast Benefits Education Network (SBEN.) The nonprofit organization is a community of benefits professionals dedicated to ongoing education, networking opportunities, the cultivation of relationships and the pursuit of personal and professional development.

“The Southeast Benefits Education Network helps employers and their providers build strong working relationships and learn from each other to grow and succeed,” Wagner said. “As the world of employee benefits becomes increasingly complex, I’m excited to join the board and look forward to sharing information that will help its members favorably impact their businesses.”

Wagner is part of MMM’s Employment and Benefits team. He has extensive experience with executive compensation and equity matters and various federal and state laws related to health and welfare plans. He advises clients on employee benefits and executive compensation issues involved in mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions. He also represents clients before regulatory agencies on various matters, including employee benefit plan audits and investigations.

“With members in the Southeastern United States, SBEN provides a forum for benefits professionals of all disciplines to share information, learn, grow and succeed,” said SBEN President Eric Rioux. “Our new directors will help further our mission as we continue to make a positive impact on the benefits community in the Southeast.”
