The SPARK Forum goes Virtual

Issued by SPARK Institute

Aug. 20, 2020

Rouse: “the safety of our members and retirement community is our top priority

SIMSBURY, CT, August 20, 2020 – Today, the SPARK Institute announced the SPARK Forum, traditionally hosted at The Breakers, Palm Beach, FL is going Virtual for the first time in 30 years.

This year, without doubt, has been a challenge for all of us. One of the three key missions of SPARK is to convene industry members regularly to share ideas on improving workplace savings and to explore trends that will help shape the future of our industry.

We are excited to bring the SPARK Forum to everyone in our established virtual conference environment. The success of our Summer Public Policy Series has proven we can provide our members and retirement community with valuable information, networking and exhibitor opportunities virtually.

The SPARK Forum dates will shift to November 4-6, 2020 where we will hear from subject matter experts from across the globe with four sessions each day from 10:30 am to 3pm ET. Timely topics will include a post-election Washington Update, SECURE, CARES Act along operational and advisor centric topics. Attendees will hear directly from plan sponsors on various panels to discuss the challenges they are addressing in these unprecedented times.

We are expecting a wide audience of attendees over the three days to include recordkeepers, plan sponsors, advisors, consultants and service providers and look forward to chatting with everyone in our virtual conference. We look forward to providing this virtual experience complimentary to attendees in our retirement community thanks to the help of all our sponsors and exhibitors.

With so much of our world changed, it is nice to know that some things remain the same; our resilience, camaraderie and commitment to improving the lives of working Americans. “Although we will miss seeing everyone in person, the safety of our retirement community and members are of utmost importance to us.” stated Tim Rouse, Executive Director of The SPARK Institute.
