Attorney Elizabeth H. Latchana Honored as a "Lawyer of the Year" in Employee Benefits (ERISA) Law in Lansing

Fraser Trebilcock attorney Elizabeth H. Latchana has been named the Best Lawyers in America© 2021 Employee Benefits (ERISA) Law "Lawyer of the Year" in Lansing. This is a high honor, as only one lawyer in each practice area in each community is honored as the "Lawyer of the Year."

Beth is a shareholder at the firm, specializing in employee health and welfare benefits. Her expertise includes Affordable Care Act, ERISA, COBRA, Cafeteria Plans, Wrap Plans, Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs), and various other areas of state and federal law compliance involving group health plan and related employee benefit matters.

She has been recognized for her outstanding legal work, being selected as one of the Top 30 "Women in the Law" in 2018 by Michigan Lawyers Weekly, has been listed in Best Lawyers continuously since 2013, and, notably, this is the third time that she has been recognized as the "Lawyer of the Year" by Best Lawyers. Beth also has been selected as a Leading Michigan Lawyer by Leading Lawyers for Employee Benefits Law since 2014.

Beth is a leader at Fraser Trebilcock, currently serving as the Chair of the Employee Benefits Welfare / Health practice area. She also previously served as Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice President of the Board of Directors for Fraser Trebilcock. Outside of work, Beth enjoys being actively involved in her community, serving on local boards, traveling with her family, and lending a helping hand with her children's various extracurricular activities.
