Executive Compensation Attorney Howard Clemons Joins Holland & Knight

TYSONS, Va. (October 12, 2020) – Holland & Knight has added Howard Clemons as a partner in its Mid-Atlantic Corporate, M&A and Securities Practice Group, based in the firm's Tysons, Virginia, office. Mr. Clemons concentrates his practice on executive compensation and employee benefits matters, with a significant focus on mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Holland & Knight, he was a partner at a major international law firm.

Mr. Clemons' experience includes advising executives, boards of directors and compensation committees on executive compensation matters at companies ranging from startups to publicly traded corporations, as well as tax-exempt organizations. During his career, he has advised on employee and executive matters for hundreds of merger and acquisition transactions.

Mr. Clemons received an LL.M. degree in taxation from New York University School of Law, a J.D. degree from the University of Memphis School of Law and a B.B.A. degree from the University of Memphis. He is admitted to the bar in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
