New Frost Brown Todd (FBT) Member Jennifer Cote brings more than 15 years’ experience advising employers on employee benefit plans with a focus on employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) and executive compensation. Her work includes advising companies in many industries, with larger projects involving multi-million-dollar benefit plan changes due to acquisitions and reorganizations in the health care industry

“Jennifer is a key part of FBT’s plan to broaden the firm’s ESOP and Executive Compensation team,” said chair of FBT’s Employee Benefits & ERISA practice group Alison Stemler. “She brings our clients an extensive understanding of what businesses need to design, implement and draft all types of employee benefit and compensation plans, with particular attention to equity succession planning with ESOPs .”

She is licensed to practice in Tennessee and Georgia. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law.

FBT’s Nashville team of attorneys and legal staff has a wide range of knowledge and skills and is led by Member-in-Charge Tom Lee. The group has extensive industry experience representing clients in the health care, automotive, manufacturing, blockchain and digital currency, government relations, technology, and international sectors.
