Steve Idoux Named President of Lockton Dunning Benefits’ Dallas Office

Idoux to expand National Consulting Firm’s Leadership Team

DALLAS (May 4, 2021) -- Lockton Companies announced the promotion of Steve Idoux to president of Lockton Dunning Benefits’ (LDB) Dallas office today.

In addition to continuing to foster his client relationships, Idoux will lead Lockton Dunning Benefits’ north Texas area client development team and serve on the LDB Executive Committee. He will focus on expanding the firm’s benefits expertise through hands-on mentoring and sharing of best practices, ultimately strengthening the support provided to clients.

“Over the past 14 years with Lockton, Steve has proven his leadership expertise through partnering effectively with our teams to create new solutions for our clients. He’s accomplished this while also dedicating time to our community internally and externally,” stated Bruce Sammis, chief executive officer. “He has a clear vision for how to creatively align our various practice areas to best address the needs of clients.  His impressive accomplishments and team-player mentality have made him a clear choice to lead our DFW client development team.”

According to Sammis, the expansion of the leadership team was driven by the continued growth of the expertise and resources LDB offers clients. Idoux stood out as the natural choice due to his commitment to clients, LDB associates and the local community. His client-focused leadership, innovative thinking and experience are valued as the necessary traits to continue LDB’s focus on offering new and unique solutions to the market.

Idoux joined Lockton Dunning Benefits in March 2007 as a vice president after serving in a sales and account management role at Cigna. He most recently served as an executive vice president and became a partner in 2019.  Idoux is devoted to his family and giving back to the community.  He is a Graduate of Leadership Dallas and serves numerous local organizations.  Idoux is a trustee for the Dallas Police and Fire Pension system and is a board member with the March of Dimes, Dallas Friday Group and Step Up.  He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Oklahoma.
