Brentwood, TN – Our journey at Acuff & Associates began thirty years ago on October 1, 1991. After thirty years, we are proud to announce that our commitment to excellence remains unwavering. We are proud to be known for our relentless attention to detail.

“From the beginning Acuff & Associates always valued others, whether clients or staff. After thirty years, others are still the focus. It has been very rewarding to be a part of the organization from the beginning,” says Lucian Acuff, the firm’s Chairman and Founder.  “It has been an amazing journey through the last thirty years. We have seen many changes throughout the retirement industry involving technology, delivery of services, and a multitude of regulations. But the constant in our journey has been quality service by quality people. We are ever grateful for the wonderful team we have had consistently for thirty years,” echoes Trina Gross, the President of Acuff, who has been with the company since day one. She adds, “In today’s world, with its challenges for business, industry consolidation and ever changing environment, it’s nice to be one of those companies that has thrived through it all.”

For the staff at Acuff, who have an average tenure of more than twelve years, the company really has been a wonderful place to work. “Acuff & Associates is a family business, and it is evident in all we do. At Acuff, we are not only committed to providing excellent service to our clients and business partners, but we also take it a step further and treat all whom we interact with like family,” notes Senior Associate, Emelie Schaefer. Fellow Senior Associate, Ginger Lehman, agrees, “Having been with Acuff & Associates for fourteen and a half years, it has been a privilege to work with such an intelligent and caring group of people. I have formed many friendships over the years with colleagues and I cannot imagine working anywhere else.”

The firm leaves a lasting impression on its staff, clients and business partners, in large part due to its strong leadership and their desire to make sure that the firm is always at the top of its game.
