Ascensus Appoints Three New Regional Vice Presidents

Marc Doucette, Evan Gray, and Andrew Luquin Will Help Lead Team to Support Financial Advisors and Their Clients

Ascensus — whose technology and expertise help millions of people save for retirement, education, and healthcare — announced the appointments of Marc Doucette, Evan Gray, and Andrew Luquin as Regional Vice Presidents on the firm’s retirement plan sales team.

Doucette will focus on covering Ascensus’ newly created Southern New England territory (Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Western Massachusetts). Prior to joining the firm, Doucette spent two decades in the qualified plan space. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Sales for Prudential Retirement. In addition to Prudential, Mr. Doucette has held sales roles at Mercer, MassMutual, and CIGNA.

Doucette earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Business from Central Connecticut State University. He also holds Series 7, 26 and 63 NASD licenses, as well as a Life Insurance License in varied states.

Gray will focus on covering the Central California region. With more than three decades in the industry, he has held similar roles at Securian Financial Group, OneAmerica, and MassMutual.

Gray earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance from Westfield State College in Massachusetts. He also attained FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, and 63 and Massachusetts Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licenses.

Luquin will focus on covering Southern California and Hawaii. Before joining Ascensus, Luquin served as Retirement Services District Manager at ADP Retirement Services and has over 13 years of experience in the financial services and retirement plan industries. At ADP, Luquin established a wide network of investment professionals throughout Southern California, to stimulate retirement plan sales. In addition to his time at ADP, he has also held management roles for E*Trade Financial, Cornerstone Real Estate Funds and Morgan Stanley.

Luquin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. Luquin also attained FINRA Series 7, 66, and 31 licenses.
