Sales team welcomes Barbara Lewis to key new leadership role

INDIANAPOLIS, IN  ─ OneAmerica® today announced the addition of Barbara Lewis as head of business development, a critical new Retirement Services leadership position.

In this role, Lewis leads a team focused on growing strategic distribution partnerships for OneAmerica — deepening existing relationships and exploring opportunities that leverage our unique differentiators in key vertical markets. Her team is structured around major distribution channels including Third Party Administrator (TPA), broker dealer, aggregator, retail, and national consulting across all market segments.

Lewis reports to Mike Domingos, head of distribution for Retirement Services, and she began earlier this month. Lewis is currently looking to expand her team, which includes business development directors and leaders of the OneAmerica tax-exempt and employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) distribution efforts, with two open and currently posted positions — consultant relations and business development director.

Lewis brings a wealth of industry experience and in-depth market knowledge, serving most recently as vice president of sales & strategic relations for Prudential Retirement, where she led the teams responsible for national advisor/consultant relationships.
